Not Sure What's Wrong? Start With a Site Inspection!
When the cause of a hot tub problem isn't known, a site inspection is usually the best place to start.
During the inspection, our technician will assess the hot tub, investigate the reported problem, and check the equipment and systems to help determine what is causing the issue. If parts or additional repairs are required, we'll explain what is needed and provide an estimate before proceeding with additional work.
Sometimes a small repair can be completed during the inspection if the necessary tools and parts are available and there is enough time to complete the work. If a follow-up repair is needed, we'll arrange the next steps, order the required parts, and schedule the repair as soon as possible.
How Our Hot Tub Repair Process Works
-
Tell us what's happening
Contact our office by phone, email, or through our service form. Let us know what your hot tub is doing, what you've noticed, and any error codes or other symptoms you've seen.
Photos can also be helpful, particularly if there is visible damage, a leak, or an equipment issue.
-
We determine the best next step
If the cause of the problem isn't clear, we'll generally recommend a site inspection so a technician can assess the hot tub and diagnose the issue.
-
We identify the repair
If the problem requires parts or additional work, we'll explain what is needed and provide an estimate before proceeding.
-
We schedule the repair
Once the repair is approved and any required parts are available, we'll offer a service time and get the repair booked as soon as possible.
Hot Tub Leak Inspections
Leaks can be difficult to locate because water can travel through the plumbing or equipment area before becoming visible.
For a complete leak inspection, all four sides of the hot tub need to be accessible.
If a hot tub is built into a deck, surrounded by an enclosure, or otherwise difficult to access, it may need to be moved or have access created before a complete inspection can be performed.
For site inspections and leak inspections, the hot tub should be filled so our technician can properly assess the spa and investigate the reported issue.
If you're dealing with a leak, photos of the hot tub and the area where you are seeing water can also help us determine the best way to proceed.
Before Your Service Call
To help us complete your service safely and efficiently, please make sure:
-
The hot tub is safely accessible.
-
There is a clear path to the spa and equipment area.
-
All four sides are accessible when a complete leak inspection is required.
-
The hot tub is filled for site and leak inspections.
-
Gates, pathways, and work areas are accessible.
-
Pets are safely kept away from the work area.
-
Photos or other information about the problem are available when possible.
Some older hot tubs, including certain older Beachcomber models, or spas with extensive spray-foam insulation may be difficult or impractical to inspect or repair. We'll assess the situation and let you know if there are concerns before proceeding.
Weather can also affect service appointments. Extremely cold conditions, snow, ice, or other unsafe conditions may require an appointment to be rescheduled.
Experienced Hot Tub Service
Our service team has extensive hands-on experience working with hot tubs and spa equipment. Our technicians bring a range of experience to diagnosing equipment problems, troubleshooting issues, and carrying out repairs.
Because hot tubs contain multiple interconnected systems, the symptoms you notice don't always identify the component that is causing the problem. That's why proper diagnosis is an important part of our repair process.
Our goal is to identify the issue, explain what needs to be done, and give you a clear understanding of the next steps.

-
We are not responsible for freeze damage caused by failed components, loss of power, tripped breakers, or weather conditions outside of our control.
-
Some repairs may involve moving, lifting, tilting, or accessing the spa cabinet. We are not responsible for damage caused by limited access, deteriorated panels, or pre-existing structural weaknesses.
-
We do not guarantee continued operation of equipment beyond the specific repair performed, as hot tubs contain multiple interconnected systems that may fail independently over time.
